Winter concerts at floating stage on River Han



Seoul City said Friday that it will host three concerts free on floating stage in the Han River riverside park in Yeouido on weekends in December.

Musicians such as Ha Yu-jin, Fin, Standing Egg and Band Soran will play acoustic guitars in “Love Actually” on Dec. 4. Japanese ban Loovee and two Korean bands, Rock Tigers and Haihm&Symmetry will perform rock music in “Play the Harmony”on Dec. 12, according to Hangang Project Headquarters.

On Dec. 18, musicians will present classical music to needy children in the concert, of “the Best Pianist Concert in My Life,”aiming to find out and promote young talent in music and other arts.

The city also plans to provide the first two concerts on video via the homepages of Cyworld (music.cyworld.com) and YouTube (www.youtube.com) from the end of this month.

The city will select 200 citizens for each one, from those who applied for the seats on the homepage of the floating stage (www.floating-stage.com), due to limited seats.
